EULA Prompts Interfere with Automation

Follow

Issue

While trying to automate an installation of Cumulus Linux with tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet or zero touch provisioning, prompts to page through the end user license agreement (EULA) prevent the ability to install the software unattended.

Environment

  • Cumulus Linux, all versions

Resolution

The standard Cumulus Linux license requires you to page through the license file before accepting the terms, which can hinder an unattended installation. To request a license without the EULA, email licensing@cumulusnetworks.com.

More information on this process can be found in the Cumulus Linux user guide.
