Issues Fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1

The following is a list of issues fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1 from earlier versions of Cumulus NetQ.

Release Note ID Summary Description

RN1430 (NETQ-2567)
NetQ GUI: Warnings and failures on the medium Scheduled Trace Result card always show 100% when the past 24 hour time period is selected

When the past 24 hour time period is selected on the medium Scheduled Trace Result card, the heat maps for both warnings and failures are incorrectly displaying a saturation value of 100%. The total of the two values should equal 100%. Other time periods display correctly.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1508 (NETQ-3187)
NetQ GUI:Time zone disappears when user opens NetQ Management

When a user viewing the Cumulus Workbench opens the NetQ Management screen, the time zone shown in the application header no longer appears. Refreshing the browser window may resolve the issue.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1528 (netq-2748, NETQ-3339)
NetQ GUI: Alarm and Info event information is not displayed in charts on large BGP, EVPN and OSPF Single Session cards

On large BGP, EVPN and OSPF Single Session cards, the alarm and info event data is not displayed in the respective charts.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1529 (NETQ-2576)
NetQ GUI: Medium Devices | Switches card displays incorrect data

Medium Devices | Switches cards should display the distribution of overall health score for network services, interfaces, system and trace, but instead shows network-wide information.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1530 (NETQ-3355)
NetQ GUI: Starting time for a scheduled trace displays incorrectly on full-screen Trace Request card

When a user creates a scheduled trace and saves it in their local time, the time is incorrectly displayed on the full-screen Trace Request card. It is correctly displayed on the large Trace Request card and through the CLI.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1532 (NETQ-3037)
NetQ GUI: Event count is always zero on large On-demand Validation Result card for sensors

While the number of sensor-related events is one or more, the event count in the table on the large On-demand Validation Result table always displays zero. The netq show events type sensors command shows the correct information.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1561 (NETQ-3618)
NetQ GUI: Snapshot creation does not complete

When creating a network snapshot, the process does not complete. While most of the tasks do complete, the OSPF task fails and the Route task does not finish, causing the snapshot process to neither fail nor succeed.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1563 (NETQ-3461)
NetQ CLI: On Edgecore AS7816-64X switches, `netq show sensors fan` reports minimum RPM as -1, whereas `smonctl` reports it as 0 RPM

When you run netq show sensors fan on an Edgecore AS7816-64X switch, NetQ reports the minimum RPM as -1, indicating no data was successfully retrieved. However, when you run smonctl on the same switch, it reports the minimum RPM as 0.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1564 (NETQ-3453)
NetQ GUI: The medium Trace Request card incorrectly displays destination MAC address option

The medium-sized Trace Request card can only be used to create a layer 3 trace request, not a layer 2 request. As such the destination address must be an IP address. The label incorrectly indicates that a MAC address can be specified.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1565 (NETQ-3612)
Cannot restore backups

The provided backuprestore script cannot restore the NetQ data from the backup image.

This issue is fixed in Cumulus NetQ 2.3.1.

RN1583 (NETQ-3876)
NetQ GUI: Duplicate single session protocol cards opened when two or more are selected

When you select two or more sessions in the All Sessions tab of the full-screen Network Services card for BGP, OSPF, or MLAG, duplicates of each selection are opened on the workbench. For a selection of two cards, you see four on the workbench; two of each. You can manually remove the extra cards by selecting the More Options menu on the duplicate card and then clicking Remove.

This is a known issue that is currently being investigated.

RN1584 (NETQ-3915)
NetQ GUI: Auto-refresh may cause state loss on cards

When troubleshooting a user may wish to disable auto-refresh so that the data is not changed in the middle of analysis. If auto-refresh causes any state loss on the card of interest, pause the auto-refresh feature by clicking the Refresh icon in the workbench header. When finished with the analysis, re-enable the auto-refresh feature by clicking the Refresh icon again to ensure the card data is always the most recent available.

This is a known issue that is currently being investigated.
